How OrbitingFox Works
OrbitingFox helps you move from scattered thoughts to organized action. The flow is simple: catch the signal, shape it with context, work on it, send it when needed, and keep navigating toward your goals.
Catch the Wink
When something important comes to your attention — a note, idea, task, reminder, expense, event, file, message, or observation — capture it as a Wink.
At this stage, speed matters more than structure. You do not need to organize everything immediately. The first goal is to save the signal before it disappears.
Shape the Wink
After capture, shape the Wink by adding meaning and context. You can add details, categories, dates, reminders, files, finance information, and links to Goals, Projects, Businesses, or other parts of your orbit.
Shaping turns a quick capture into something you can understand, search, and use later.
Work the Wink
A Wink becomes valuable when you work on it. Depending on the type of signal, you may complete a task, make a call, attend an event, expand a note, review a file, track an expense, assign the item to someone, or ask OrbitPilot to help interpret related context.
This is where captured information becomes real progress.
Send a Wink
When a Wink or its result is ready to move outward, you can send or share it with another person, team, space, or workflow.
In the future, this may include assignments, shared summaries, reports, external links, or AI-assisted outputs. The important idea is that sending happens after the Wink has been captured, shaped, and worked on enough to be useful.
Connect the Orbit
A single Wink becomes more powerful when it is connected. OrbitingFox helps you connect daily signals to larger Goals, Projects, Businesses, files, calendars, finance records, and collaboration spaces.
This keeps related information together instead of spreading it across disconnected tools.
Navigate with OrbitPilot
OrbitPilot is the navigation intelligence layer of OrbitingFox. Its purpose is to help you understand your information, find related context, summarize patterns, and prepare better next steps.
For normal users, OrbitPilot can help make sense of notes, tasks, files, and goals. For advanced users, it can become a deeper memory and reasoning layer. For future teams and organizations, it can support shared context and operational awareness.
Designed to Grow
OrbitingFox starts as a simple way to capture and organize daily life. As users need more structure, it can support projects, business records, files, finance details, calendars, collaboration, and AI-assisted knowledge.
The long-term direction is broader: helping people, teams, and organizations bring human signals, documents, messages, and future sensor/device events into one connected orbit.
Wink System
Capture any thought, task, reminder, event, note, expense, message, or file reference as a Wink. A Wink starts small and can grow. Add a type, date, reminder, file, goal, project, business, or finance detail when needed. The Wink System is the core capture layer for everything else.
Calendar
See task, reminder, and event Winks across days, weeks, and months. The Calendar helps you understand timing without duplicating your work.
Kanban
Move task Winks through stages such as To Do, In Progress, and Done. Kanban helps turn captured signals into visible progress.
Goals
Define your Goals as Stars and connect Winks, projects, files, and decisions to them. Goals give direction to the rest of the system.
Projects
Group related Winks and work items into Projects when a goal requires longer execution.
Business
Track business-related records, clients, ventures, or operational notes. Link related Winks so business context stays connected.
Finance
Attach income, expense, tax, or budget information to Winks or related records so money context stays connected to the work that created it.
File Management
Upload and organize files connected to Winks, goals, projects, businesses, or folders. Files should support the orbit instead of floating separately.
OrbitPilot / Knowledge Navigation
OrbitPilot helps users search, summarize, and reason over their own selected Winks, files, goals, projects, and business context. The goal is to keep answers grounded in the user's own orbit.
Admin Tools
Staff users can manage site settings, contact messages, appearance, launcher items, and system controls through AdminApp. Regular users do not see these tools.
