Getting Started with Fleet & Asset Registry
The Fleet & Asset Registry lets you manage all your physical equipment — vehicles, aircraft, machinery, HVAC units, or anything else — organized into fleets (groups) with full tracking of serial numbers, operating hours, and cycles.
Create Your First Fleet
- Open Fleet & Assets from the app menu.
- Click Quick-Add to create a fleet and add your first piece of equipment in one step, or click New Fleet to set up a fleet first.
- Give the fleet a descriptive name (e.g., "My Vehicles", "HVAC Units", "Aircraft Fleet").
Add Equipment to a Fleet
- Open a fleet and click Add Equipment.
- Enter the equipment name, type (optional), serial number, manufacturer, and model.
- Fill in location if useful (e.g., "Hangar 3", "Bay 12").
Track Operating Hours & Cycles
Each piece of equipment automatically accumulates total hours and total cycles as sensor readings come in (once Sensor Hub is connected). You can also view this on the equipment detail page.
Quick-Add Wizard
The Quick-Add Wizard at /fleet/quick-add/ creates a fleet and adds your first equipment item in a single step — ideal for getting started quickly.
