Getting Started with Maintenance & MRO
The Maintenance module is your full Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) system. Track work orders, log defects, manage maintenance schedules, and monitor component life limits.
Create a Work Order
- Open Maintenance and click + New Work Order.
- Select the equipment, add a title and description.
- Set priority (Low / Medium / High / Critical) and type (Planned / Corrective / Emergency).
- Click Create Work Order. The WO number is auto-generated (e.g. WO-A1B2C3D4).
Work Order Lifecycle
- Open — work order created, waiting to be started.
- In Progress — work has started. Click "Mark In Progress".
- Completed — work done. Enter actual hours and click "Mark Complete".
Overdue work orders (past their due date) are highlighted in red.
Log a Defect
Go to Defect Log → + Log Defect. Select equipment, describe the issue, and set severity. High and Critical defects appear on the Maintenance Dashboard for immediate visibility.
View Components
The Components page shows all tracked parts with their life limit status. Parts approaching 90% of their maximum hours or cycles are flagged with a "Low" badge.
