Orbit Cards — Getting Started
What is Orbit Cards?
Orbit Cards is a flashcard and spaced-repetition study tool built into OrbitingFox. Create decks of cards, study them in flip-card mode, and track your progress over time.
Key Concepts
- Deck — A collection of flashcards on a topic (e.g. "Spanish Vocabulary").
- Sub-deck — A subdivision inside a deck (e.g. "Unit 1 — Greetings"). The default sub-deck created automatically is called General.
- Uncategorized deck — A system deck that holds cards you create without choosing a specific deck. Think of it as your inbox.
- Card — A two-sided flashcard: a front (question/prompt) and a back (answer/explanation).
- Study session — Go through cards one by one, mark each as Known or Needs Review, and see your score at the end.
- Study List — A curated collection of decks you want to study together.
