Building Your Memory
Building Your Memory
Before you can ask OrbitPilot questions, it needs to read your data. This one-time (and occasional) step is called a memory build.
Step 1 — Choose your sources
On the OrbitPilot dashboard, you will see a list of knowledge sources: Winks, Goals, Projects, and others depending on your plan. Toggle on the ones you want OrbitPilot to know about.
You do not need to include everything. Start with the sources most relevant to what you will be asking about.
Step 2 — Click "Build Memory"
Tap the Build button. OrbitPilot reads your selected records, processes them, and stores a searchable memory. This usually takes a few seconds to a minute depending on how many records you have.
Step 3 — Done
Once the build is complete, the Ask section becomes active. You can start asking questions.
When to rebuild
OrbitPilot does not update automatically when you add or change records. Rebuild whenever you want your latest data to be included — for example, after completing a project, adding new contacts, or recording new voice memos.
Usage limits
The number of builds you can run each month depends on your plan. Your current usage is shown on the dashboard. If you need more rebuilds, you can upgrade your plan.
