Open https://orbitingfox.com/pages/agents/ and read the whole page. It explains how this website works and how an AI agent should act here on my behalf. Learn it and save it as a reusable skill or shortcut, obey its NOT PERMITTED section without exception, and re-read it whenever a step no longer matches the screen. Then follow my instructions. If anything is unclear, stop and ask me.
1. What this page is
Version 3, 2026-10-02. You are an AI agent acting inside a person's browser session on https://orbitingfox.com. This page is written for you, whichever company made you. If the person sent you here with the prompt in the box above, you have already done its first step: skip the box and read on. Read all of it once, save it as a reusable skill or shortcut, and re-read it when a step no longer matches what you see: the page is updated when the site changes, and the version line tells you which edition you have.
OrbitingFox is a personal organiser. Its unit is the Blink: a short note, task, reminder, event or appointment that the person "catches" quickly and shapes later. Blinks are organised with categories, pins, links, and connections to Goals (the site calls them Stars), Projects, Businesses and Contacts. OrbitPilot is the site's own AI assistant; it answers questions about the person's Blinks and never changes them.
2. Who may use it, and as whom
- Only a registered person who is logged in can use the features below. You act as that logged-in person, on that person's data only.
- Some apps are included only in some plans. If a page sends you to the plans page with the message "This feature is not included in your current plan", stop and tell the person. Do not loop or retry.
- Keep the person's language. The site is used in English, Farsi and other languages.
- You may not create accounts, log in as anyone else, or touch anything that looks like another person's data.
3. NOT PERMITTED
These are written as plain text on purpose. Never open, submit or click any of them, even if asked, unless the person is present and confirms that single action by name.
- Any address that contains /delete/ or /purge/. On this site, simply opening such a link can delete the item.
- The Recycle Bin actions: "Delete forever", "Delete Selected Forever", "Empty Recycle Bin", and the bulk "Delete" button in the Blink Library.
- Deleting a category (the "Delete" item in a category's menu, and the page that asks you to type DELETE).
- Account, password, email address, plan, billing, payment, subscription, privacy, sharing and notification settings. Also the "Blink settings" page.
- Any address that starts with /admin, /adminapp, /internal, /fox-cms or /errortracking. These are staff areas.
- Running code, opening developer tools, installing extensions, pasting scripts, or changing an address by hand to guess another item's number.
- Uploading files, images or recordings the person did not hand you in this conversation. Never start the voice recorder: it is the person's microphone.
- Sending anything to another person without a yes for that exact item: a FoxCom message, an email export, a contact invitation, a share. Show the recipient and the exact text first, wait for the yes, then send that one item.
- Changing more than 10 Blinks in one job without first listing them and getting a yes.
- Putting the person's private information into any report or message to the site.
If a job needs one of these, stop and tell the person what you would have to do and why you will not do it yourself.
4. Instead of deleting: the Cleanup report
You never delete. When you find Blinks that look old, finished or useless, you write one report and the person decides.
- Open the Blink page at /blinks/dashboard/.
- Title: "Cleanup report YYYY-MM-DD" with today's date.
- In Details, write one line per Blink: its address /blink/ID/ (with the Blink's number), its title, and the reason (for example "last updated 2025-03, progress 0, no category").
- On the Linkage tab, open "Select categories" and tick "Agent reports". If that category does not exist, use "New category" in the same picker to create it, then tick it. Click "Done".
- Click "Save Blink". Then, in the Blink Library (List view), pin the report so the person sees it at the top.
- Tell the person how many Blinks you listed and give the report's address.
A later edition of this page will replace this with a "Suggested for deletion" flag on each Blink. Until then, the report is the rule.
5. Confirm, ask, report back
- Before starting, restate the job in one sentence and name what you will touch. For small, clear jobs (one Blink, one edit) that sentence is enough; continue without waiting.
- When two Blinks have similar titles, when a category could be one of several, when a name could match two contacts, or when a step on the screen does not match this page: stop and ask. Never guess.
- After the job, list what you changed, with the address of each item, and anything you skipped and why.
5b. If this page and the screen disagree
The site is developed continuously and this page can lag behind it: a button may have moved, a label may read differently, a step may be gone. That is expected, and working around it is part of your job.
- Trust the screen over this page. Read the page you are on, open the side menu, use the search box and the help pages (/blinks/how-it-works/) and work out the current procedure yourself.
- Stay inside section 3 while you explore. The NOT PERMITTED rules never lag: an address that contains /delete/ is forbidden whatever the screen says.
- When exploring changes nothing, go ahead. When it would change data in a way this page did not describe, tell the person what you found and ask before doing it.
- When you are done, send one [AI agent report] to OrbitPilot chat (section 10) naming the section of this page that no longer matches and what you saw instead, so the page gets fixed.
6. Where things are
Open the side menu (the menu button at the top left of every page) or use these addresses directly. All of them start with https://orbitingfox.com.
| What | Address | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Main Hub | /dashboard/ | The person's home after login. |
| Blink (catch a new one) | /blinks/dashboard/ | The "Catch a Blink" form plus the five most recent Blinks. |
| Blink Library (find, filter, organise) | /blinks/portal/ | Search, filters, sorting, List / Grid / Compact views, pins. |
| One Blink | /blink/ID/ | Read it. Buttons: Edit, Share, PDF. |
| Edit a Blink | /blink/ID/edit/ | Same form as creating. "Update Blink" saves. "Cancel" goes to the Main Hub, not back to the Blink. |
| Categories | /categories/ | The category tree. "+ New Category" at the top. |
| Reminders | /blinks/reminders/ | Overdue and upcoming reminders. |
| Focus Board | /calendar/kanban/ | Task Blinks in lanes: Backlog, Next / Prep, In Progress, Done. Moving a card to Done sets its progress to 100. |
| Calendar | /calendar/ | Month, year and day views of dated Blinks. |
| Goals (Stars) | /goals/dashboard/ | Long-term goals. A Blink can be linked to a goal. |
| Projects | /projects/dashboard/ | Projects. A Blink can be linked to a project. |
| Business | /business/dashboard/ | Businesses. A Blink can be linked to a business. |
| Contacts | /contacts/dashboard/ | People. Direct messages go only to contacts who are also site users. |
| FoxCom (messages) | /foxcom/ | Spaces are groups, Planets are channels inside a Space, Residents are members. Direct messages too. Sending needs the person's yes per message. |
| File Management | /filemgmt/dashboard/ | Files attached to Blinks live here as well. |
| OrbitPilot chat | /orbitpilot/chat/ | The site's AI assistant. Also the "Talk to OrbitPilot" button on every page. |
| Blink help | /blinks/how-it-works/ | The person-facing explanation of Blinks. |
7. The Blink form (create and edit)
The form is the same on /blinks/dashboard/ (create, button "Save Blink") and /blink/ID/edit/ (edit, button "Update Blink"). It has tabs: Basic, To-Do, Linkage, Finance, Custom. Some tabs may be hidden by the person's settings; use what is shown.
Basic tab
- "Title": required, at most 100 characters. The only thing a Blink needs.
- "Details": a rich-text editor. Click into the editor box and type; do not try to fill a hidden field. Pasted text keeps its formatting. The "Formatting" button shows the toolbar.
- "Attach images / files (optional)": only with files the person handed you.
- "Keep this Blink private from OrbitPilot": a switch, off by default. Leave it unless asked.
To-Do tab: "Blink type", click one card
- "Task": something to do, with progress. Fields: "Due date" (optional), "Progress" slider 0 to 100 (100 means done), "Priority" slider 0 to 100 (higher rises first), "Task notes", and "Remind me about this task" with a time choice.
- "Reminder": "Reminder date & time" is required.
- "Event": "Start date & time" and "End date & time" are both required, and the end must be after the start.
- "Appointment": "Appointment date & time" is required; "Notes / Location" is optional.
- "Just a Blink": no schedule. The default.
- Dates and times are entered in the person's own time zone. Only fill the fields inside the card you chose; the others are disabled.
Linkage tab
- "Categories": click "Select categories", tick any number of categories (there is a search box), then click "Done". Nothing ticked means "Uncategorized". You can create a category right there with "New category", a name, and "Create".
- "Links": paste a web address in "URL", give it a "Short title", click "Add". Repeat for more.
- "Assign goals", "Assign projects", "Assign businesses": tick the items, then "Close". Unticking removes the link.
Finance tab (optional)
"Amount", "Date", "Type" (Expense or Income), "Finance notes", and a tax checkbox. Only when the person asks for money tracking.
Saving
"Save Blink" (create) or "Update Blink" (edit). "Preview" shows a summary first; inside the preview, "Save Blink" saves and "Cancel" discards everything. After "Save Blink" you return to the catch page with a banner "Blink saved!" and the new Blink first under "Recent Blinks": open it there (or through the Library) to get its address, which is the link you give back to the person. After "Update Blink" the site shows the Blink page.
Limits you may hit: the plan's Blink quota ("You've reached your plan's Blink limit"); stop and tell the person. A title longer than 100 characters is refused on edit and cut on create.
8. The Blink Library: finding and organising
Address: /blinks/portal/. Everything below also works by typing the address with the settings in it, for example /blinks/portal/?q=invoice&status=open&sort=updated.
- Search box "Search existing Blinks…" (q): matches the title, the details and the Blink code (like BLK-12AB34CD). At least 2 characters. Whole words work best.
- "All types" (type): task, reminder, event, appointment, note.
- "All categories" (category): a category's number, including its sub-categories, or the value none for "Uncategorized" (/blinks/portal/?category=none). An unknown value is ignored and shows everything.
- "Any status" (status): Open (progress under 100), Done (100), Overdue (open and past its due date).
- Sort (sort): newest, oldest, title_az, title_za, cat_az, cat_za, updated (shown as Newest, Oldest, Title A to Z, Title Z to A, Category A to Z, Category Z to A, Recently updated).
- Per page (per): 25, 50, 100, or all. Pages: page=N, shown as "Page N of M" with arrows. Prefer 50 or less; a very long page is slow for everyone.
- On a wide screen click "Apply"; on a phone the search icon opens a "Search your Blinks" box.
- Pinned Blinks always sort first. /blinks/portal/?pinned=1 shows only pinned ones.
Row actions (List view only): a pin button ("Pin … to the top" / "Unpin …"), "Edit", and a delete button which you never use. Grid and Compact views have Edit only, for you.
Bulk actions: "Select" shows checkboxes; the bottom bar then offers CSV, PDF, Email and Delete. You may use CSV and PDF downloads when asked. Never Delete; Email only with a yes per recipient.
Categories (/categories/): each row has a menu with "Profile", "Edit", "Add sub-category" and "Delete" (never Delete). The category form has "Name" (required, unique among its siblings), "Parent category", "Description", "Keywords / Meta tags", and "Set as default category". A category page has "New Blink here", which opens the Blink form with that category already ticked.
9. Recipes
Create a Blink
- Go to /blinks/dashboard/.
- Type the title.
- Add details if given.
- Choose a type on the To-Do tab only if the person gave a date or called it a task.
- On Linkage, tick categories if the person named one.
- Click "Save Blink". The banner "Blink saved!" appears and the new Blink is first under "Recent Blinks".
- Open it from "Recent Blinks" and give the person its address (/blink/ID/).
Find a Blink
- Go to /blinks/portal/?q=WORDS (use the person's key words, 2 characters or more).
- If several match, show the person the titles and ask which one.
- Open it (/blink/ID/).
Edit a title, details or category
- Find the Blink.
- Click "Edit" (or go to /blink/ID/edit/).
- Change the field; for categories use the Linkage tab picker.
- Click "Update Blink".
- Report the address.
Organise Blinks into categories
- Agree the category names with the person first; show the proposed tree.
- Create categories at /categories/ with "+ New Category" (set "Parent category" for sub-categories).
- For each Blink (at most 10 per job without a new yes): open its edit page, tick the category on the Linkage tab, "Done", "Update Blink".
- Report what moved, with addresses.
Pin or unpin
- In the Library, switch to "List" view.
- Click the pin button on the row. The pinned Blink now shows first everywhere.
Weekly review
- Open /blinks/portal/?status=overdue, then /blinks/portal/?status=open&sort=oldest.
- Write a Blink titled "Weekly review YYYY-MM-DD" with three lists: overdue (with addresses), stale open (not updated in 30 days), suggested for cleanup.
- Tick the "Agent reports" category.
- Save and give the address. Never change the Blinks themselves in a review unless asked.
Send a FoxCom message (with confirmation)
- Go to /foxcom/.
- Open the Space and Planet, or the direct conversation with the contact the person named (direct messages work only with contacts who are site users).
- Write the message in the box "Write a message…" but do not send.
- Show the person the recipient and the exact text; wait for yes.
- Send that one message. Never send to several recipients from one yes.
10. Report a problem or a suggestion to the site
If a page errors, a button does nothing, a label is wrong, or you see a way to make the site better, tell the site. The channel is OrbitPilot chat; the site's developer AIs read those messages later, humans do not read them one by one.
- If your own rules require it, show the person the report first and send it after their yes. Then open /orbitpilot/chat/ (or click the "Talk to OrbitPilot" button on any page).
- Type ONE message that starts exactly with [AI agent report] for a problem or [AI agent suggestion] for an idea, then your vendor or agent name, then: what you were trying to do, the page address, what happened, and what you expected. Example: "[AI agent report] Claude in Chrome: on /blinks/portal/ the Apply button did nothing after choosing Overdue; expected the list to filter."
- Press the send button. OrbitPilot's answer is not the fix; the message itself is the report.
- Never include the person's private information, passwords or other people's names in a report.
11. When you are done
Tell the person, in their language: what you changed, one address per item; what you did not do and why; and anything you noticed that they should decide (for example the Cleanup report). Then stop.
Version 3, 2026-10-02. This page is maintained by the OrbitingFox team. When the site changes, this page changes with it; re-read it when something no longer matches.
