Error Tracking — User Guide

The Error Tracking app lets you report bugs and issues you encounter on the platform directly from your browser.

Reporting an error

  1. When you encounter an unexpected problem, look for the Report an Error button (usually in the page footer or error screen).
  2. Describe what happened and what you were trying to do.
  3. Optionally record a short voice note or attach a screenshot to help the team diagnose the issue.
  4. Submit — your report is immediately visible to the admin team.

What happens next

The admin team reviews error reports and may contact you for more details. Fixes are tracked internally and deployed in platform updates.

Privacy note

Error reports include technical information about the page and your browser. Your account details are attached only if you are logged in when you submit the report.

Attach your own screenshots (2026-08)

When reporting a problem you can now add up to 3 of your own images — click Add images, paste a screenshot straight into the text box, or drag a file onto the report window. You can also speak your report in your own language; it is transcribed automatically. After review, your report shows what happened to it — including when the fix has shipped.

v3 — Guest reporting (2026-08)

If the site admin has enabled guest reporting, you can use the 🐛 bug button even without an account or while logged out — describe the problem the same way. Guest reports are limited to a few per visitor per 10 minutes (with an overall site-wide ceiling) to keep the channel healthy, so during busy moments you may be asked to wait. One difference from logged-in reporting: a guest voice memo is only turned into text when your browser supports live transcription — otherwise the recording itself still reaches the admins, so consider also typing a short description.

v3 — Multi-pin + iOS screenshot honesty (2026-08)

Something broken in several places? After pinning the first spot, use "➕ Add pin" in the pin menu — up to 5 numbered pins go into ONE report, and the automatic screenshot shows all of them. On iPhone/iPad the automatic screenshot usually can't be captured (a Safari limitation) — your pins and text still arrive, and attaching a screenshot from your Photos works great.
